Since udemy-dl got taken down, I've been looking for alternatives and found one just under my nose.
... so, here it is.

Download the youtube-dl by by Ricardo Garcia (user rg3 in github).

-- I downloaded the one for windows as my PC is on windows 7 ► windows.exe

Save or put the youtube-dl.exe that you've downloaded in the folder where you want to save your Udemy downloads.

To run this, open your command prompt in the directory where you saved your youtube-dl.exe
-- ex: i put mine under in a udemyDL folder i created inside the videos folder.

to download, here is the syntax:

youtube-dl.exe -u email@gmail.com -p mypasswordhere https://www.udemy.com/course-link-here/


Examples of free udemy courses you can try to download ( I just google these) :
