I found this method online and tried it out for myself and it worked. I gained at least 3K followers with this method. Its pretty simple and isn't really long to do. Here is the tutorial:

Step 3: Tweet the tweet provided there.

Its not hand coded, it is using a phpBB board, but with modifications added. modifications made by myself, and by some other people too
