To get started, download the official VidIQ extension for Chrome from this link: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detai...blodfkgbhl
If you're using Explorer, type this into the address bar:
%LocalAppData%\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Extensions\pachckjkecffpdphbpmfolblodfkgbhl.
Then, copy the folder that appears, which might be named something like 3.18.0_0, but yours could be different.
Make sure to only work with the files from the copied folder. Open that folder and delete the _metadata folder inside it.
Next, use Notepad to open the bundle.bundle.js file. Press Ctrl+F to search within the document and type in:
let t=e[0].
Now, here’s where you can customize your settings. Change the number 0 to the version you want. Just be careful to only change the number and nothing else!
- t=e[1] - pro
- t=e[2] - boost lite
- t=e[3] - boost
- t=e[4] - boost plus
- t=e[5] - enterprise
After making your changes, save the file.
Finally, to install the modified folder as an extension in Chrome, go to chrome://extensions/, turn on "Developer Mode," click on "Load unpacked extension," and select the folder you just edited.
