1. Find the monitor you want to get.

2. You'll need a serial number and the easiest way to acquire it is to hit up alot of people on ebay selling that monitor and ask them for serial numbers to check the warranty ( contact a bunch of them some of them will say they can't give to you ) .

3. Contact hp through their chat custom service.

4 . Say you bought the monitor and it worked fine for a week and it just stopped showing any signs of life,the lights light up but the monitor doesn't show anything. ( if they ask you if the adapter gets warm say it does ).

5. You'll have to go through troubleshooting with the rep, say you did it but will do it again, say it doesn't work.

6. They'll ask you for your info to ship at this time,or will make you call them,if they don't they'll ask for a receipt and here you can take a chance :
either :

a ) change your email, get a new serial number , restart

b ) generate a fake amazon receipt ( worked for me numerous times but it has to be believeable i'll make a tutorial on that later )
