here are some simple steps to get a licensed WinRar.

Go here: http://rarlab.com/download.htm

Download the latest version depending on your system (32 bit or 64 bit).
If you are uncertain install the 32 bit version.

Download the registration file from here:

Unzip and paste rarreg.key in the installation folder:
